Pakistan’s most prestigious awards Lux Style Awards 2018 (LSA) are set to be held in less than a month and it is being reported that Hassan Sheheryar Yasin aka HSY will not be directing the show this year. Last year, he replaced the Frieha Altaf of Catwalk Event Management and Productions, who was directing the show for years.
According to a report on SomethingHaute, HSY proposed a show which was going beyond the approvable budget of organizers and HSY took the decision due to budget constraints against the creative vision given. “With this message we want to inform you that Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) will not be directing LSA 2018. His decision is due to budget constraints against his creative vision given,” it quoted team HSY.
The same report also quoted Raheel Pasha, the Marketing Director at Unilever. “The Lux Style Awards will be held on February 21st,” he confirmed the date of the show. “At this critical time of need for social awakening, we aim to use the platform for our industry to stand in solidarity with the nation. More details on the theme to follow,” he added.

Last year, when HSY made his debut as LSA show director, he also made Atif Aslam to host the show for the first time. The show has performance by Atif Aslam himself, Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, Ali Sethi, and others.
With HSY getting out of the league, we are expecting that Frieha Altaf might take the show again. And if she does not, who will?
