Islamabad United’s captain Misbah ul Haq tells that he is enjoying his cricket and will continue playing the game post Pakistan Super League (PSL) season III. However, he has not yet decided if he will be playing the next season of the league or not.

Misbah has been leading Islamabad United since season I. When asked if he will continue leading the team in next season, he told he will decide later. “I am enjoying my game and it is not easy to leave cricket. I am sure that I will keep playing cricket but for PSL, I will make final decision later,” he shared.

While talking about the low turnout of spectators in Dubai and Sharjah, the skipper told that the league belongs to Pakistan and it should be held there. “Everyone including the board, players and fans understand the importance of taking the league to Pakistan and efforts are being made to do so. I think, we just have to get back to home because it’s Pakistan’s league and the people there own it,” he told.

Furthermore, Misbah praised the bowling standards in PSL and called it a tough team for batsman. “I think quality of bowling is very good in PSL, teams have five-six full fledge bowlers in squad, which you don’t get to see this in other leagues,” he told.

“All teams are playing with five quality bowlers and then they have all-rounders. With that, the conditions are challenging too. Batsmen need to understand and settle down before start scoring,” he added.
