Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari, known for her iconic roles in dramas like Aangan Terha, Barat Series, Bilqees Kour, and Pardes, recently praised Hania Aamir in her latest vlog.
Currently in Canada, spending time with her daughters Nariman and Meera, Bushra Ansari often shares glimpses of her life through vlogs.
In one of her recent videos, she opened up about her co-star from Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum — Hania Aamir. Bushra praised Hania for her professionalism, especially during challenging shooting conditions.
“I’m really happy that Hania and Diljit’s film is doing well in Pakistan. Allah has granted her success at such a young age. She’s a very talented actor. Whether it’s summer, winter, or harsh weather, she never lets anything stop her. She’s committed and completely professional.”
Bushra also highlighted that Hania’s dedication is not about money, but about her serious attitude toward work.
She didn’t hold back from addressing Indian backlash regarding Hania’s role in the film with Diljit Dosanjh.
“To my Indian fans — why behave so childishly? When she signed the film, everything was fine. Are you really threatened by a young girl? She was cast for change. You all ganged up on her, just like with Fawad Khan. These reactions lack logic. I believe the recent situation in Pahalgam was staged. It’s clear that PM Modi doesn’t want any India-Pakistan collaborations.”
Bushra Ansari’s statement has added fuel to the ongoing debate around cross-border collaborations and the backlash actors face for working across borders.
