Khan said her upcoming film will promote Pakistan’s OTT Platform. “Why should we go with OTT platforms from outside if we can promote our product. I wanted my first to be on a Pakistani platform. I would love to produce for Zee or Amazon or Netflix, but I also feel we need to empower our local OTT platforms,” she revealed the reason behind choosing Tampad for her web-series release.

The actress, who will be the first actor-turned-producer – not appearing on the screen, said she is not a big fan of sports but the script of ‘Baarwan Khiladi’ inspired her a lot.

“To be honest, I am not a big sports lover but when I heard the story and read the script, it got me excited. Also working with younger/newer people was something that I really wanted to do,” she said.
