Babar Azam overthrew Azhar Ali as Test captain after Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed change in red-ball format leadership.
With the latest appointment, Babar is now the captain across all three formats of the game. The 26-years-old batter just led the national team to ODI and T20I home series win against Zimbabwe.

Where his fans and cricket followers congratulating him for becoming the new Test captain, former skipper Azhar also wished his teammate ‘Good Luck’ for the future.
“Congratulations Babar for being appointed as test captain, all the best brother. I assure my full support to you. May Allah help you achieve many glorious victories for Pakistan Ameen,” he wrote on Twitter.

Remember, under Azhar Pakistan won a home series against Sri Lanka and home Test against Bangladesh. Whereas, lost Test series in Australia and England.
