Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai tied the knot with Asser Malik [General Manager at Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)] in a private Nikkah ceremony in England on Tuesday.
Taking to social media, Malala shared some pictures from her Nikkah ceremony which immediately engaged millions of her followers around the world.
Celebrities from across the world congratulated the Pakistani activist for female education on her wedding.

Earlier, Malala was highly criticized for her views on marriage.
“I still don’t understand why people have to get married. If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why can’t it just be a partnership?” she shared her two cents in a cover interview on British Vogue.
“Even until my second year of university. I just thought, ‘I’m never going to get married, never going to have kids – just going to do my work. I’m going to be happy and live with my family forever,” she added.
