Ali Zafar received the Pride of Performance Award from the President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi on the occasion of 82nd Pakistan Day.
While sharing his feelings on social media after receiving the civilian award, the singer motivated his fans and followers to work hard and believe in themselves to achieve success.
“We are blessed with a beautiful life, it is upon us what we make of it. We create our reality. We will always have the option to choose between kindness and cruelty, compassion and brutality, love and hate. Our choices define us and hence the moments in our life,” he penned down a heartfelt note.
“Be creative and unleash the magic within you for you’re nothing short of a miracle only if you can see.
“Remember, you deserve to be happy, you deserve to be successful, you deserve to live. Never compromise on that. Have faith,” he added.
The recipient of the Pride of Performance award thanked his parents, family, and well-wishers for their support throughout his whole career. “Always love and respect your parents, family, and those who were there for you in your times of trouble. I promise you, you will be rewarded in your time. The only reason for that not happening would be if and when you have any doubts in your mind. Never doubt,” he shared.
It must be noted Ali alongside Humayun Saeed was among the recipients of the Pride of Performance award.
Veteran actors Resham, Sarmad Sehbai, Sakina Samo, Religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel, and former cricketer late Abdul Qadir also received this award for contributing in their respective fields.
