Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has opened up vacancies for females as attendants at its filling stations across the country.
In a bid to promote women’s empowerment and providing equal opportunities, PSO hired two female pump attendants who made rounds on social media after their picture went viral.
Scores of people took to the post to appreciate the company’s initiative and sent best wishes to both the ladies. Meanwhile, they also fear possible harassment at their workplace and urged authorities to provide them safety.
It must be noted here that this was the first time ever that female pump attendant was hired by an oil company for its filling stations.
