The DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor might just have revealed what Ahad Raza Mir will be appearing in next. In a congratulatory tweet to Mir on his engagement with Sajal Aly, Ghafoor sent his best wishes for the couple and hinted at a new project for the Independence Day featuring the actor.
“Heartiest congrats Ahad, Sajal & families on the engagement. Stay blessed,” his tweet started off and went on to prepare his fans for his upcoming role. “Millions of Pakistani viewers and your fans should be ready to see you on screen in a lifetime role for ISPR as Capt Saad during this August, IA,” he revealed.

Mir has portrayed a patriotic role previously in Parwaaz Hai Junoon. Interestingly, the air force pilot from the movie was also named Saad. Moreover, the ISPR has also collaborated with several filmmakers to produce movies that propagate a message of the narrative of the armed forces of the Pakistan Army.
This upcoming project could either be a documentary, film, or drama. Either way, judging by Mir’s recent performances, he seems like a perfect fit for the role.
