Former Test cricketer Shoaib Akhtar said England should pay back a visit to Pakistan once green shirts complete their ongoing tour of the English country.
Taking to Twitter after Pakistan lost to England 1-0 in Test series, Akhtar highlighted the beauty of Test cricket where just a single session can change entire results. Meanwhile, he shared his experience about the series which took place in bio-secure environment.
“This is the beauty of Test Cricket. One weak session lost us the series. A good series overall in COVID-19 times. England should definitely do a return tour,” wrote Akhtar.
It must be noted here that Pakistan is currently on England’s tour where they had already played three matches Test series, whereas the T20I series is scheduled from August 28. This was Pakistan’s first international tour since March 2020 when all sports activities across the world came at a standstill due to COVID-19 outbreak.
