To everyone who has been eagerly waiting to know when they will get to see Humayun Saeed in the latest season of the hit Netflix series based on the British monarch and her family, The Crown, there’s finally some good news. The release date of the fifth season is finally out, along with a subtly intense poster of the show.

Saeed took to his Instagram to share the poster and confirm the release date of the season, which is November 9, 2022. And as soon as shared the poster, hundreds of fans and Saeed’s friends from the fraternity took over the comments to congratulate the actor, wish him good luck, and share how they were looking forward to seeing the show.

Sajal Aly shared her excitement by saying she can’t wait to watch it.

Aijaz Aslam wished him all the best, while Tooba Siddiqui left a bunch of heart-eyed emojis.

Syra Yousuf, Dino Ali, and Freiha Altaf also commented their excitement and eagerness to watch the show.

Saeed will be playing the role of Dr. Hasnat, a British-Pakistani heart surgeon with whom Princess Diana had a secret two-year-long relationship with. Depending upon the nature of the relationship of the two characters, fans believe Saeed will be getting plenty of screen-time in this season, although the actor has been tight-lipped on any and all details regarding the show.

The rest of the ensemble cast includes Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II and Jonathan Pryce as her husband, Prince Philip. Meanwhile Dominic West will play Prince Charles, Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana, Lesley Manville will take over the role of the Queen’s sister Princess Margaret, and Jonny Lee Miller will play Prime Minister John Major.

Keep your eyes peeled as the season premiers on Netflix this winter.
