Looks like Hania Aamir is in no mood of taking a breather. After successful ventures like Janaan, Na Maloom Afraad 2, and Parwaaz Hai Junoon under her belt, the vivacious young actress is back on the small screen with Shehzad Sheikh in a new Hum TV production, titled Anaa.
It was previously rumoured that her upcoming project with Sheikh will be titled Kainaat, but it seems like the name did not fit. Deeming it as a new year’s present for her fans, the Visaal actress dropped the teaser for her new drama serial, and it looks all kinds of entertaining.
The teaser shows Aamir’s character, Dani, as a chirpy and jovial kind of girl, who doesn’t shy away from blurting out whatever’s on her mind. In contrast, Sheikh’s character, Areesh, gives off very brooding and mellow vibes, and appears composed in front of the leading lady’s enthusiasm. The chemistry between the two is apparent, and indubitably, Aamir’s charm just adds to the appeal of the teaser.
Reportedly, the drama will centre around two families, and will focus on the lead actors’ relationship, with an ample amount of drama and plot twists. Moreover, the shooting locations gives off very pleasant but chilly, Northern Pakistan vibes. Sounds like its nailing all the ingredients for a hit, right on the spot.
Penned by Sameera Fazal with Shehzad Kahsmiri as the director, Anaa also stars Naimal Khawar, Irfan Khoosat, Usman Mukhtar, Shamyl Khan, and Simi Raheal in supporting roles. It is expected to drop any time this month, so keep your eyes glued to Hum TV.
