The critically acclaimed Pakistani film Mah e Mir was recently screened at the Rajasthan Adult Education Association, the second venue of the Jaipur International Film Festival 2017 for audiences included notable writers, poets, media individuals and activists in the field of education. The movie enthralled the viewers received standing ovation.

Earlier, the film was nominated by Pakistan’s Academy Selection Committee as the country’s official submission in the Best Foreign Language Film Award Category for the 89th Academy Awards. The film Mah-e-Mir was a departure from the usual fare owing to its intellectual content, stellar writing and superb acting coupled with brilliant music and as such was the number one choice of the committee members.
Mah-e-Mir stars Fahad Mustafa, Iman Ali, Sanam Saeed, Alyy Khan and Manzar Sehbai in lead roles. The film is directed by Anjum Shahzad and written by Sarmad Sehbai.
