Lahore’s local court, on Monday, issued remarks against Meesha Shafi’s absence in court hearings in the Ali Zafar defamation case.
The court once again issued bailable arrest warrants of PKR 50,000 for Meesha and Maham Javed.
“Meesha is making a mockery of court proceedings. She and Maham Javed didn’t come to court hearings despite arrest warrants issued against them. The case trial is suffering due to their absence,” the court gave remarks as per reports.
Moreover, the court also dismissed appeal by Meesha and Maham for exemption from in-person appearance in the hearings.
The next court hearing in the Ali-Meesha defamation case will take place on March 19.
