Pakistanis excited for New Zealand’s first-ever tour to Pakistan in 18 years

New Zealand have confirmed their tour to Pakistan for the first time in 18 years and they will play three ODIs and five T20Is against the home side.

As per the announced schedule, the Black Caps will arrive in Islamabad on September 11 followed by their quarantine period. They will play three ODIs in Rawalpindi on September 17, 19 and 21. These ODIs will be part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.

The five T20Is will be played between September 25 and October 3 in Lahore. The tourists will comeback next year to play Test series.

Meanwhile, fans were over the moon with the arrival of this news. New Zealand will be the first high-profile team who will visit Pakistan after the complete revival of international cricket in the country.

After New Zealand, England team will visit Pakistan to play two T20Is on October 14 and 15. West Indies will tour Pakistan in December for white-ball series whereas Australia will come next year in February-March to play a full-flesh series in the country.
