Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate first-ever Pakistan Television (PTV) HD transmission, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chauhdry said.
In an interview on Youtube, the minister said the preparations to turn PTV HD have been completed and the first transmission will go live on August 6.
“The preparations are done and we have tested the HD transmission. PM Imran Khan will inaugurate the PTV HD transmission on August 6,” Fawad disclosed.

The minister further said that Radio Pakistan has been digitalized alongside the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP). Whereas, PTV Sports and Home will become HD soon.
