PCB denies reports of Ali Zafar performing in PSL 6 virtual opening ceremony


The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has denied the reports regarding Ali Zafar’s performance in their pre-recorded PSL 6’s virtual music program.

According to a PCB’s spokesperson, Ali is not a part of the line-up which will perform in the virtual opening ceremony. “No, Ali is not there with the artists in Turkey for PSL 6 opening ceremony’s pre-shoot,” he confirmed.

Remember, the singer sang the first three anthems of the PSL and remained the most favorite of PSL audience when it comes to his anthems.

On the other hand, Atif Aslam is also a part of the star-studded PSL 6 opening ceremony’s line-up. Kadi Te Hans Bol singer has already recorded his performance for the event.

Earlier, PSL 6 official anthem’s artists including Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, and Young Stunners reached Turkey for the shoot.

It must be noted here that PSL 6 will be played only at two venues following the COVID-19 pandemic. Only 20 percent crowd will be able to watch each match in Karachi and Lahore with strict SoPs enforced.
