Atif Aslam is a part of the star-studded PSL 6 opening ceremony’s line-up which is currently in Turkey to shoot the virtual show.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s CEO, Wasim Khan has already confirmed that this year’s PSL opening ceremony will be a pre-recorded show which will go live before the first contest between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators on February 20.

“The live opening ceremony at the stadium couldn’t be possible due to COVID-19. Hence, we are recording it with the first phase of shooting already been completed in Quetta and the last phase of the shoot is underway in Istanbul, Turkey,” he said.

Reportedly, rock star Atif has recorded his performance for the event’s opening ceremony. Earlier, PSL 6 anthem’s artists including Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, and Young Stunners reached Turkey for the shoot.

It must be noted here that PSL 6 will be played only at two venues following the COVID-19 pandemic. Only 20 percent crowd will be able to watch each match in Karachi and Lahore with strict SoPs enforced.
