Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has directed all Tv channels to stop airing hugs/caress scenes/extramarital relations, vulgar/bold dressing from now onwards.
In a notification issued to the media houses, PEMRA shared that several complaints were received against bold scenes in dramas.
“Hugs/caress scenes/extramarital relations, vulgar/bold dressing, bed scenes, and intimacy of married couple are being glamorised in utter disregard to Islamic teachings and culture of Pakistani society,” the notification said.
