Another Pakistani cricketer met a controversy when a UAE-based girl named Ashreena Safia posted screenshots of her chat with leg-spinner Shadab Khan and alleged him of blackmailing her.
Safia took to Instagram to share her relationship with the 21-year-old cricketer. She narrated a story of how Shadab ditched after remaining in relationship with her for a long period of time.
Meanwhile, she shared few screenshots of her chat with Shadab over whatsapp and claimed that the leg-spinner took advantage of his fame and blackmailed her for some private pictures after they both got separated.

Furthermore, the girl revealed that she travelled with Shadab in different cricket leagues around the world which includes the Carribean Premier League (CPL) and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). She also accompanied the Pakistani star during the ICC World Cup 2019 in England.
Moreover, she also shared the reason for breaking the silence after a long period of time. She wrote that when a Pakistani journalist posted a picture on Twitter showing Shadab standing with a girl, the cricketer threatened her to not tell anyone what happened in between them.
It must be noted here that Shadab is the fourth player to be in such situation. Earlier, Imad Wasim, Imam-ul-Haq and Shaheen Shah Afridi also faced such scandals on social media.
