Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal has reported a deadly attack on him by two unknown people outside his house in Lahore.
According to the reports, Akmal filed a report in Defense Phase 5 police station against two individuals who he claimed have attacked him outside his home.
Police reacted to Akmal’s report and arrested four people from outside his home. On investigation, one out of the two alleged attackers is from England and the other is Pakistani.
Meanwhile, they both also filed a complaint against Akmal. The alleged attackers claimed that they went to take selfies with the cricketer but he abused them and attacked them with his footmen.
Adding to your information, Akmal is currently undergoing Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s rehabilitation process after completing his ban of 18 months due to not reporting fixing approaches in 2020.
The cricketer apologized to PCB, his family, and fans for his mistake and assured to not repeat this mistake in the future.
