Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal thinks that Pakistan’s experienced batter Shoiab Malik plays spin bowling better than former Australian captain Steve Smith.
Speaking to an Indian journalist, Chahal highly rated Malik who has represented Pakistan in 35 Tests, 287 ODIs, and 113 T20Is so far. “Bowling to Malik is difficult and I felt this during the Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai,” Chahal recalled.
“He plays spin bowling so well, especially when he takes singles quite easily on good balls. For me, he is better than Smith while playing spin,” he added.
@yuzi_chahal : “I was bowling to @realshoaibmalik during the Asia Cup and was impressed with the way he was taking singles of good deliveries. I realised that this player has a lot of experience and I think he is better than Steve Smith when it comes to playing spin bowling.” pic.twitter.com/L2649A9sGk
