As expected, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bollywood film Tiger Zinda Hai has failed to receive No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Central Board of Film Censor (CBFC). The decision will definitely help two Pakistani films releasing on same date, to collect more revenue on box office at home.

The film is a spy-action-thriller, which tells the story of Tiger, a spy from India, played by Salman Khan and his interest, a Pakistani spy Zoya, played by Katrina Kaif.

It is a sequel of Dabbang Khan’s 2012 thriller Ek Tha Tiger, which was also banned for portraying negative image of Pakistan. According to a daily English newspaper report, Mobasher Hasan, the chairman of the CBFC has cited the same reason to ban the sequel as the prequel of the film. “The image of Pakistan and its law enforcement agencies has been compromised.” he told.

Shaan Shahid, Humaima Malik and Mohib Mirza starrer Arth 2 and Bilal Ashraf, Urwa Hocane and Gohar Rasheed’s Rangreza are releasing on December 21st, 2017. These films will not face any competition from Bollywood at home.
