Janaan and Parchi director Azfar Jafri is set to kick off his first project of 2018 with Armeena Rana Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar playing the lead roles. The actress broke the news of film titled Sherdil, on her Instagram with a 40 seconds teaser.

“Something REALLY BIG is coming up this handsome one right here @mikaalzulfiqar! Can you guess what it is? We simply can’t wait to tell you,” the actress posted on her Instagram account almost three months ago. Last week, she broke her silence and announced that it was a film.
The first spell of Sherdil has already begun in Islamabad in collaboration with Pakistan Air Force (PAF). According to some sources, another spell will be done in Egypt. Sabeeka Imam, Hasan Niazi, and Mohib Mirza will also join the lead cast.
The DOP of the film is Ricky Butland, who earlier worked in Hollywood blockbusters Star Trek and Fast and Furious.

Shardil will have at least four songs picturized on Khan and choreographed by Sonu Dangerous.
