Anoushay Abbasi said she has worked really hard to make her own name despite having a family background from Lollywood.
Speaking to Something Haute, Anoushay stressed the need for working with new people in the industry even if someone has family connections.
“A lot of people thought that I have a family background from this industry so I got work and fame here but in reality, I haven’t worked much with my family. I have always tried to work with new people and make my name out of my already known family,” she said.
Remember, Anoushay is the sister of film actress Javeria Abbasi and former actor cum director and screenwriter Shamoon Abbasi.
Meanwhile, Anoushay talked about her ongoing drama serial Raqs-e-Bismil in which she is playing the role of Sakina opposite Imran Ashraf (Moosa).
“I absolutely loved the character; I enjoyed while reading it and enjoyed while doing it and luckily, I’m still enjoying the feedback,” the actress shared.
“I am opposite of Sakina in real life. I was born in a family of actors and writers so I am in this industry; if I was born in some other family, I would’ve adapted to their lifestyle. I am a very practical person unlike Sakina who is rebellious,” she highlighted.
