Wherever he goes, Atif Aslam continues to rule not only the hearts of his loyal fans but also the ever-changing music charts. And now as we’re closer to the end of the year, music streaming platform Spotify just released its Spotify Wrapped following its year-end tradition, giving everyone a glimpse of their listening habits throughout the year.
Spotify’s charts revealed Atif Aslam ranked at the top spot of most-streamed Pakistani Artists of the year, and is followed closely by Talha Anjum who also continues to grow steadily as time and trends go by.
Other notable artists that made it to the list include Talha Yunus, Young Stunners, Asim Azhar, Abdul Hannan, Hasan Raheem, Ali Sethi and the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
This year, Atif was the talk of the town because of his new single Moonrise, which combined the singer’s tight grasp on Punjabi vocals with catchy EDM beats and featured him in a new, fun-loving light with British model Amy Jackson in the music video. Atif was also a huge part of the latest Coke Studio season with Go featuring Abdullah Siddiqui being his top offering.
