Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government has taken notice of ailing legendary comedian Umer Sharif’s appeal to travel abroad for treatment.
In a video message shared by renowned anchor Waseem Badami in his show on ARY News, Umer appealed to Premier Khan to arrange his urgent travel to America for treatment.
“Doctors here advised me to travel abroad for treatment. They suggested I can get better treatment in America,” he shared in the video clip.
“I was lucky to help Imran Khan in his efforts to build Shaukat Khanum Hospital. Now, I am looking forward to the Prime Minister for his help to arrange my travel abroad,” he added.

“Whenever you had called me for something, I was there to help you. I hope you will do the same in this difficult time,” Umer appealed to PM Khan.
Now, Badami has disclosed that the Prime Minister House officially approached him and assured him to arrange immediate travel of the legendary artist for treatment abroad.

It must be noted here that Umer has been suffering from heart problems and recently his picture on a wheelchair went viral on social media. People were curious to know about his health condition.
