Gul-e-Rana hints at leaving Tv industry for politics

Veteran Tv actress Gul-e-Rana said her interest has developed immensely in politics over the last couple of years and she aims to become a part of Pakistan’s Assembly soon.

Speaking to Something Haute, Rana said she has involved herself a lot in politics and soon people will see him as a proper politician.

“My relationship is now with politics and that is where I intend to lead my journey. My goal is the assembly,” she said.

“Once I join politics and the assembly, I obviously will have to bid farewell to my drama career. I will do theatre to treat my fans though,” she shared.

It must be noted here that Rana is the mother of singer Asim Azhar and proved her acting mettle in famous Pakistani dramas. She is currently featuring in ongoing dramas such as Dunk and Raqs-e-Bismil.

In 2018, she fought General Elections for one of the biggest political parties, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
