Online voting started for ‘HUM Social Media Awards’

HUM Network Limited has launched its first-ever digital award show to recognize and encourage deserving individuals working in the fields of music, entertainment, fashion, sports, and content creation.

According to a press release, the nominees for the award show are based purely on their social media presence and their achievements across all platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and unique blogs in the entertainment genre etc.

Online voting for the nominees in different categories has already been started and will continue till September 22, 2020.

Sultana Siddiqui, President HUM Network is confident that these awards would encourage digital content creators in the entertainment field to do more in the future. “Social media has the power to engage and motivate on a global scale. It is an appropriate time that we recognize and celebrate all the inspiring individuals working in different fields of entertainment genre, who have proved their mettle digitally with years of hard work and dedication,” she said.

“I am very proud of this initiative as this is the first time that a TV channel in Pakistan has collaborated with Facebook to recognize the potential of social media. This event will be a stepping stone in encouraging and inspiring young and emerging content creators to utilize their platforms and their abilities to create meaningful and impactful content,” she added.
