Meanwhile, Lahore Say Aagey star Yasir Hussain expressed his hope to see Khan supporting back the artists after once again coming into power.
“I hope Imran Khan supports back artists just the way artists are supporting him right now,” the actor wrote in his Instagram story.
During Khan’s tenure at PM’s office, he faced immense criticism for promoting Turkish drama serials and actors in the country. Yasir was among the critics who often called out former PM for prioritizing Turkish content over local industry.
