Pakistan’s former Test cricketer Mansoor Akhtar has been questioned by ICC’s Anti-Corruption officer in Karachi today.

According to reports, ICC Anti Corruption Unit Coordinator of Investigations, Steve Richardson interviewed Akhtar in a locked room for over an hour. The interrogation is said to be about the match-fixing scandal that erupted about a month ago, when test cricketer Umar Akmal had accused Akhtar of offering him match-fixing during the global T-20 League in Canada.

Following the scandal and today’s inquiry, Richardson is set to meet more cricketers during his stay in Karachi and possibly hold further interrogation sessions. Keep watching this space for more updates.
