Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the upcoming new policy will abolish all major taxes on Pakistani films.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the minister shared that the new film policy will be introduced next month which is a step forward to flourish the entertainment industry in Pakistan.
“New Film Policy will be announced next month, all major taxes on Films will be abolished likewise Dramas and Film business will get special benefits, hope new Film Policy will go a long way to revive Pakistan’s Film industry,” he wrote.

Earlier, Hussain announced that they will provide financial assistance to young film and drama makers. “We will provide load up to 5 crores to young film-drama makers from Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ‘Kamyab Jawan Program‘” he had written on Twitter.
