The remaining 20 matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 will take place in Abu Dhabi, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirms on Thursday.

After a lot of hiccups and days’ wait, the PCB received written permission from the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s government.

Now, the PCB and all six franchise representatives will sit in a virtual meeting today to discuss the roadmap for staging the event successfully.

Remember, the UAE government put strong strong conditions to stage the remaining PSL 6 in Abu Dhabi including vaccination of all people involved in the extravaganza.

PCB requested them to ease the conditions as it wasn’t possible to vaccinate everyone in such a limited time period. Reportedly, the Pakistani government indulged in this matter and helped PCB getting permission.

Earlier, the PSL 6 remainder was scheduled in Karachi from June 1 to 20 but due to the COVID-19 surge in the country, PCB was suggested to shift the event somewhere else.
