Former England and Liverpool footballer Michael Owen will attend Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7’s opening ceremony on January 27.
Owen, who is in Karachi for ground breaking ceremony of Pakistan’s first-ever soccer city stadium, will come to witness PSL 7’s curtain raiser event.
The legendary English footballer, on Monday, attended ground breaking ceremony of soccer stadium. While talking to the media on this occasion, Owen praised football talent in the country.
“I am impressed with the football talent here and I see a bright future of the game here. I am delighted to be a part of this venture,” he said.
“I am looking forward to working with Global Soccer Ventures (GSV) for the upliftment of football in Pakistan,” he added.
