Veteran actor-host Nauman Ijaz and cricketer Abdul Razzaq have been fined for passing sexist comments against female cricketer Nida Dar.
Taking to Twitter, barrister Khadija Siddiqui shared that ‘G sarkar with Nauman Ijaz‘ has been fined by PEMRA.
“Represented Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in PEMRA, COC headed by Pansota. Sexist, misogynistic, gender, stereotypical remarks by the hosts and cricketer Abdul Razzaq, targeting Nida on “G sarkar with Nauman Ijaz”. Fined Rs 200,000/- and unconditional apology to be aired,” she wrote.

It must be noted here that Razzaq had landed in hot waters after passing sexist remarks against Nida in a live show. “The feeling [to get married] is gone [by the time they excel. If you shake her [Dar] hand, she is anything but feminine,” this comment by Razzaq became critical on social media.
