Prime Minister Imran Khan thinks that negative use of mobile phones has led to increase in sexual crimes in the country.

Speaking to a convention in Punjab, PM Khan expressed disappointment over increasing sexual crimes in a society like Pakistan.

“Its heart breaking to see sexual crimes happening in the country at highest numbers. There was a time when Pakistanis were more respectable towards women that the West but it has changed now,” the Premier said.

“I believe the negative use of mobile phones has led to the increase in sexual crimes in the country. There is a need to educate children on such topics instead of just introducing them to technology,” he maintained.

PM Khan bashed police for leaving loop holes in security that led to an incident like Minar-e-Pakistan. “Minar-e-Pakistan incident really saddened me. I am enarrased that such things are happening in my country. I am looking at it personally, Inshallah the culprits will be held accountable soon,” he said.

“Again I would say, there is a need to educate our people. Parents should teach their children on such topics,” he concluded.
