Dowry (Jahez) is considered as one of the social issues in South Asian countries and people often talk against it but still, there is no proper law that can handle this culture.

In Pakistan also, Dowry has had a long-lasting effect on a bride’s parents who spend their whole life gathering money to afford Dowry.

Once again, following Ali Xeeshan’s latest collection Numaish at the Pantene Hum Bridal Couture Week 2021, Dowry culture has become the talk of the town. A picture portraying a bride carrying the weight of Dowry went viral on social media and it took no longer to attract people, talking about this endless issue.
