Parey Hut Love has been making waves way before its release, and for all the right reasons. We haven’t really gotten over the breathtaking visuals, when it has given us something else to obsess over – the soundtrack!

Earlier last week, the Parey Hut Love jukebox was released, revealing all of the movie’s soundtracks. Some of these sure got us grooving while others took us on an emotional roller coaster because whether it’s upbeat Punjabi music or soulful tunes, the movie has a variety of songs to satisfy your inner music fanatic, regardless of what genre you’re into.

The Youtube mix begins with ‘Ik Pal’, a festive dance track that incorporates the signature Punjabi tappa with a modern twist to it. Its Punjabi beat and the merry dhol mix is what makes it perfect for the wedding season and will immediately get you dancing. ‘Ik Pal’s’ music video also reveals that this is the grandest song in the film, shot at the stunning Noor Mehal in Bhawalpur and featuring the superstar Meera Jee.

‘Haye Dil Bechara’ is another wedding song from the film. With its cheerful and upbeat tune perfectly complemented by tap dance, it’s a song you won’t be able to resist dancing to.

However, a lot of people don’t particularly enjoy listening to festive music, as it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But fret not if you’re one of those, as you need to give ‘Behka Na’ a listen. Its soulful melody and heartfelt lyrics may remind you of someone you love since it describes the romantic journey of the two main characters in the film, Sheheryar and Sania – played by Sheheryar Munawar and Maya Ali.

Morey Saiyyan’ is yet another harmonious song from the film, that has a pure classical beat to it. The beautiful melody is consistent throughout the song which takes us back in time with its traditional tunes. Another song that will certainly soothe your senses is ‘Zehel-e-Miskeen’, a Sufi mix sung by the euphonious Sufi singer, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Adding to the genre variety in the playlist is ‘Balma Bhagora’ which is a fast track with a groovy tune that has rap verses narrated by the film’s actors Sheheryar Munawar and Ahmed Ali Butt.

Parey Hut Love’s recently released playlist has certainly crossed our expectations, giving us a flavor of all sorts of music within one album. The well-curated album has been composed by Azaan Sami Khan and mixed by Tanay Gajjar, a duo that has created just the right beats for whatever the occasion may be. Rest assured, you’re in for an audible treat for weeks to come.

If you haven’t heard it yet, you’re missing out! Listen to it here:
