Salman Saqib Sheikh aka Mani said people will see him in new projects very soon as he has now moved on from politics and wasting time on other stuff.
Speaking to Rava Entertainment on YouTube, Mani accepted his mistake that he wasted his time with PTI and PSP which effected his worth in the industry.
“See, there are ups and downs in our industry for artists, I mean sometimes you get work sometimes you don’t. But I also accept the fact that I wasted my time in politics with PTI and PSP and it has affected my career. But, soon you will see some good work coming from my side,” he said.
Mani, who started his career as a VJ, highlighted how important it is in Pakistani industry to let people know your existence by contacting them on regular basis. “In this field, we have to meet people and communicate and I don’t do that to begin with. Hardly, sometimes I would call Dr Ali Kazmi to remind him I exist and that every celebrity has to do to remind everybody,” the Bandish star shared.
The comedian-turned-actor mentioned that a comedian can also be a good actor if given a chance. He gave an example of his role in Bandish, a doctor with serious acting. “It was a challenging task as the director asked for a different take than what ‘Mani’ has in everything. As my wife, Hira was also in the drama, I feared a comparison that people often make. That is why I put in my all to come to her level,” he maintained.
