A famous spot for foodies in Karachi named ‘Burns Road’ will be revamped into an iconic food street by the local authorities.
According to the reports, a nine-member committee has been formed to recommend Deputy Commissioner South – the changes and development work needed to make Burns Road an iconic food street officially.
The sewage system in the area will be fixed soon and also lined up is the cleanliness in surroundings, renovation work including installing lights, repairing roads, and footpaths and painting nearby buildings. Moreover, the food street will be closed for traffic in the evening and parking for visitors will also be allocated separately.
It must be noted here that Burns Road is one of the famous food streets in Pakistan due to its quality food and availability of almost all types of cuisine.
