All six franchises have finalised their retentions, trade and release as players’ draft for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 is just around the corner.
Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi consumed their full allocation of eight retentions, while Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators retained seven players each.
Lahore’s National High Performance Centre (NHPC) will host players’ draft on December 12.
More than 425 players from 32 countries have registered in different categories. In the Platinum Category, Qalandars will have the first pick, followed by Sultans, Kings, United, Zalmi and Gladiators.
Each franchise can comprise up to 18 players, including three each in Platinum, Diamond and Gold categories, five Silver, two Emerging and up to two Supplementary categories.
