The main man behind Coke Studio success, Rohail Hayat is coming back as music producer of the show after five years break.
According to Express Tribune report, “multiple sources have confirmed that Hyatt is set to return to Coke Studio as the producer after a gap of five years. Zohaib Kazi and Ali Hamza who produced the show’s 11th season have already stepped down.” More sources revealed that the show’s new format, production team and artist lineup are being decided.
The report added that several other names were also in consideration for the task, including Atif Aslam but the company decided to call Hayat back.
Hayat started Coke Studio season one in the year 2008 and produced six seasons till 2014. Later, Strings, Noori, then Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi were given the charge but only to end up in disappointed by season 11 last year.
The comeback of maestro Rohail Hayat will be a relief for all his fans who were not happy with last couple of seasons and wanted him to take the charge again.
