Veteran actress Seemi Raheel bashed Pakistan Television (PTV) for an unfair remuneration for her services to them.
Taking to Instagram, Seemi shared a snap of a check she received from PTV for her services. The check has an amount of PKR 1400 mentioned on it and the actress called it ‘Disgrace’ for artists.
“A PTV check dated November 2020, disgraceful, insulting, sad, this how artists are honored by the State. This is the acknowledgment of PTV after 4 decades, this was truly appalling,” she wrote.

People reacted to this post in numbers and questioned PTV’s criteria to pay actors who have worked for them.
Earlier, another veteran actor Rashid Mahmood shared a cheque worth PKR 620 he received from PTV for his work. The actor had questioned PTV’s criteria to pay artists.
