Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz, who had recovered from COVID-19 recently, have donated their blood plasma at the Dow University of Health Sciences on Saturday.
In a video on Instagram, Yasir disclosed that he and his wife have donated their plasma after recovering from a widely-spread virus.
The actor-cum-director urged other people ‘recovered from COVID-19’ to donate their plasma to help others suffering through this disease.
“We are thankful to Allah that we recovered from this disease. We felt this our responsibility to donate plasma to help others,” he said. “If you recovered from COVID-19 then it is your responsibility to donate your plasma as a positive gesture,” he urged.
It must be noted here that Yasir, Nida, and their daughter tested positive for COVID-19. The family recovered after being quarantined.
