Merub Ali called out engagement rumors with Asim Azhar and said they are just great family friends.
Speaking to Something Hauter, Merub said she and Asim know each other since childhood as their mothers are old friends.
“I have heard a lot of rumors about me and Asim Azhar. Even, people say we are step-siblings or cousins,” she said.
“Neither we are cousins, nor step-siblings. We are just great family friends. Our mothers are friends of each other so we have family terms,” she added.
Merub just made her acting debut in ARY Digital’s drama serial Sinf-e-Ahan which is based on women in Army.
