Mohammad Hafeez has announced his retirement from international cricket in a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Monday.

“I announce to end my 18-years long international career with pride and gratitude and it was honor for me to represent Pakistan,” Hafeez announced.

“I enjoyed my time in international cricket and there is no disappointment in my retirement decision. I will continue playing league cricket for my fans,” he added.

It must be noted here that Hafeez was dropped from the squad after T20 World Cup that concluded last year in November. He had already taken retirement from Test cricket in 2018 after playing his last match against New Zealand in Dubai.
