Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan hardly fails to give us at least one story every week. This time, reports suggest that the eye candy has been approached to play Indian poet Sahir Ludhianvi in his biopic against Parineeti Chopra who would play Amrita Pritam. The film, titled Gustakhiyan, will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali production.

Initially, Irrfan Khan and Priyanka Chopra were approached for the movie and it was scheduled to go on floor by mid-2016 but because of their unavailability, the makers have approached Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Parineeti Chopra for the roles.
“Sahir’s character apparently ages in the film from his early 20s to his 40s and 50s and the makers now feel that Fawad would look more convincing playing the younger part, as compared to Irrfan,” reports Indian website Filmfare.
This next Friday, Fawad Khan will be hosting IIFA Rocks 2016 with Karan Johar in Madrid, Spain.
