Abdul Sattar Edhi, the founding chairman of Edhi Foundation, has rejected former president Asif Ali Zardari’s offer to go abroad for the treatment. The man who runs the biggest ambulance service in the world, has insisted on treatment in government hospital in Pakistan.

According to a report by Dawn, the former federal interior minister Mr. Rehman Malik paid a visit to Edhi’s home in Kharadar, Karachi and presented Zardari’s proposal to Edhi Sahab. “Should I take you with me to London or Dubai? asked PPP’s Senator Rehman Malik. Abdul Sattar Edhi was not well therefore Faisal Edhi interpreted his ailing father and said that he insisted on treatment in Pakistan, specifically in a government hospital.

In conversation with media after his meeting with Abdul Sattar Edhi, Malik said that he was ready to take him anywhere in the world by air ambulance.

In recent past, Abdul Sattar Edhi also denied a 10 million Indian rupees donation offer made by Indian Prime Minister Narendar Modi.
