Abdullah promises to set trends in Pakistan film industry for issue-based movies that are most indigenously carved for an impact making future of the industry. Abdullah has already been showcased on various international screens including the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

The movie capturing scenic Quetta valley – inspires its story from a real life incident that took place in Quetta in 2011 and sent shockwaves across the country. The star cast includes Hameed Sheikh, Sajid Hassan, Imran Abbas, Sadia Khan and other artists. After the shoot packed up in 2011, the movie remained in news for censor board banning its release for some content.

It was believed that the movie may never make it to the screens but has finally made its way into the Cinemas across Pakistan for public viewership after getting cleared from the board recently making it complete five years between the post production and release. Abdullah is written and directed by Hashim Nadeem, a writer, director and civil servant hailing from Quetta. The movie extracts by the rich heterogeneous cultural flavor of Quetta, a city once famed for its fruits, peace and serenity turned into a hostile turmoil-hit region of the country.

The public screening of the Movie Abdullah has set off from Friday, 28th October, 2016 in all cinemas across Pakistan. Tickets are available at the cinema centers for the shows.
