Parey Hut Love has been garnering a lot of attention way before its release, and rightfully so. With Asim Raza at the helm, and a delightful cast of Sheheryar Munawar, Maya Ali, Zara Noor Abbas, and Ahmed Ali Butt, it certainly looks like a film to look forward to. While we’ve given the inside look on some of the major characters, let’s delve into what Butt has to say about his experience.
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor has given us a lot to count on with his comedic nature, and we had to know the deal behind this role. “My character is a shrewd and street-smart guy. He is a director, and he is trying to make the best film of his career but is unfortunately, poor. And according to Asim [Raza], it is a very sharp character, who wants his profit in everything,” he said.
“Sheheryar’s character is a bit naïve, and easily influenced by him, but this guy always thinks the best for him. It is also about the journey of these friends, and their struggles [with being poor]. It is a very different character from the ones I have played before,” he added.
Moreover, we’re a little curious about how Asim Raza is as a director, compared to Nadeem Baig who has worked with the actor previously in the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani movies. “A good director is recognized by the fact that he gives the time that is required by every person. Nadeem Baig possesses this quality, and so does Asim Raza. Both are very steadfast about their work, and don’t want any compromises,” he said.

Another comparison that stands out is that between Humayun Saeed and Sheheryar Munawar as co-stars, and both were equally wonderful for Butt. “Humayun bhai has a played a huge role in bringing me into the film industry. I have learnt a lot from him,” he said, explaining how the love and affection from working in three films together will always be there.
“Sheheryar is also the producer [of this film], so it was the same feeling that I felt with Humayun bhai. The way he diligently works in the production and cares about the artists, he puts double the effort in his acting. And I enjoyed working with him a lot. Him as a producer and him as an actor are both wonderful people,” he added, while praising the fellow actor.
Speaking of fellow actors, the film also marks Zara Noor Abbas’ debut in the film world, and the actor had nothing but acclamation for her. “Zara is fantastic. We belong to big entertainment families, so, it is all in her blood. Whether it is acting, dance, expressions, all of it. She is a delight to work with and people are going to love her on the screen,” he stated.
On a parting note, the actor has raised a lot of expectations for the film. “Asim’s vision is very strong, and you will get to see it in this film. It’s one of the finest films to come out of Pakistan in 2019. And it will be an Eid blockbuster, InshAllah,” he said. And we certainly hope so!
